Marais DigitARt is a pioneering non-profit cultural association, established in 2023 in the heart of Paris, dedicated to exploring the intersection of art and augmented reality (AR). By pushing the boundaries of digital creativity, Marais DigitARt transforms the vibrant Marais district into a living canvas for digital innovation. This initiative is driven by a passion for making art more accessible and engaging, leveraging technology to create unforgettable experiences in public spaces.

‘A 15-Day AR Journey Through Paris‘

13 – 22 September 2024

Each year, Marais DigitARt organises a unique 15-day event that takes participants on a journey through the historic streets of the Marais district, turning this iconic Parisian neighborhood into an open-air digital gallery. Buildings, parks, and public spaces become stages for dynamic AR artworks, seamlessly blending the past with the future. Through a curated selection of AR installations, the event invites both residents and tourists to experience art in new and exciting ways, breaking down the barriers between the viewer and the artwork.

The work that was selected for this exhibition is ‘Into the miniverse 1.2’ the original design was created for Snap Spectacles AR powered glasses. The ‘AR’ experience will be locate at the Café La Perile this version of into the miniverse will also be the last work that will be powered through Meta Spark Studio given the latest news.

‘CREATE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE‘

Into the Miniverse uses technology to transform traditional art galleries into interactive ​experiences. It makes AR-t accessible to everyone, allowing people of all ages to narrate their ​own stories through immersive interactivity. As a multidisciplinary artist, I explore the ​evolution of my work by transforming sculptures into digital spaces. Inspired by childhood ​nostalgia, Niue’s coral landscapes, and sugar-blown art, the Miniverse is a fantastical AR ​miniature universe. These creations weave imagination into reality, inviting you to embark on ​your own magical journey.
